Freezing of Gait — the most disabling symptom of Parkinson's

Freezing of Gait (FOG) is a sudden, transient inability to initiate or continue walking. The patient's intention to walk is present, but the legs don't respond. It causes falls, loss of independence, and severe psychological distress. Conventional canes cannot address FOG because the problem is neurological — not mechanical. The Laser Cane solves this by providing a green visual cue on the ground that bypasses the faulty brain signals and triggers the stepping response through the visual cortex.
